1. Where We Ship

AshkiWorks currently ships to Canada and the United States only.

We ship to all Canadian provinces and territories, and to all 50 US states. We do not currently ship internationally outside of these two countries.

If you are outside Canada or the US and would like to place an order, please visit our Contact page and submit the form. We will let you know if we can accommodate your request.

2. Order Handling Time

All products are made to order and printed in-house in Canada. Because of this, every order goes through a production step before it ships.

Handling time: 1–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays)

Handling time begins the next business day after your payment is confirmed. Once production is complete and your order is packed, you will receive a shipment notification email with tracking information.

During high-demand periods (holidays, new releases), handling time may extend to 3–5 business days. We will always communicate delays proactively.

3. Shipping Options & Estimated Delivery

We offer two shipping options at checkout:

Standard Shipping - Cost: CA$8.00 - Estimated delivery: 5–8 business days after shipment - Available for Canada and the US

Express Shipping - Cost: CA$18.00 - Estimated delivery: 2–3 business days after shipment - Available for Canada and the US

Total estimated time to delivery = handling time + shipping transit time.

Example: if your order is placed on a Monday, processed in 2 business days (Wednesday), and sent via Standard Shipping, you can expect delivery between the following Monday and Thursday.

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Occasional delays due to carrier volume, weather, or customs are outside our control.

4. Carriers

We ship via Canada Post and/or [Placeholder β€” add your carrier(s) before launch] depending on your location and selected shipping method.

Canada Post delivers to all Canadian addresses, including rural routes and PO boxes. US deliveries are handed off to USPS once they cross the border.

You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Use it to follow your package on the carrier's website.

5. PO Boxes & Rural Addresses

We can ship to PO boxes and rural/remote addresses within Canada and the US via Canada Post Standard service. Express shipping may not be available to all rural addresses β€” if Express is unavailable for your address, we will contact you to arrange Standard Shipping and refund the difference.

Military addresses (APO/FPO) are not currently supported.

6. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation that includes:

  • Your order number (e.g. AW-0001)
  • Your tracking number
  • A link to track your shipment on the carrier's website

If you have not received a shipping notification within 5 business days of your order, please check your spam folder first, then visit our Contact page and submit the form with your order number.

7. Customs & Import Duties (US Orders)

Orders shipped to the United States may be subject to US customs duties and import taxes. These charges are assessed by US Customs and Border Protection and are the responsibility of the buyer.

In practice, small-value shipments (under approximately US$800) are generally not subject to US import duties under the de minimis threshold, but this is subject to change without notice.

AshkiWorks is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges imposed by US customs authorities.

8. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Package shows as delivered but you haven't received it: Wait 24 hours β€” carrier tracking sometimes updates before physical delivery. Check with neighbours or your building mailroom. Then contact the carrier directly with your tracking number.

If the package is confirmed lost after the carrier investigation:

  • Visit our Contact page and submit the form within 30 days of the estimated delivery date
  • Include your order number and tracking number
  • We will open a claim with the carrier and, once resolved, either reship your order or issue a refund

Package shows as in transit but significantly delayed: If your package is more than 7 business days beyond the estimated delivery window, please visit our Contact page and submit the form. We will investigate with the carrier.

AshkiWorks is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after a confirmed delivery scan. If you are concerned about porch theft, consider using a secure delivery location or PO box.

9. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please review your shipping address carefully at checkout. AshkiWorks is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

If you notice an error immediately after placing your order: Please visit our Contact page and submit the form as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, we can update the address.

If the order has already shipped, we cannot redirect it. If the package is returned to us by the carrier, we will contact you to arrange reshipment (additional shipping charges may apply) or issue a refund for the items only.

10. Return Shipping

In summary: customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part. We recommend using a tracked shipping method for all returns.
